You know you're a great teacher

when your kids take what you've taught them at school and do it at home.

Last Friday I taught my kids how to make simple valentines. They learned to fold paper and make hearts. Then they glued the hearts on a piece of paper, wrote to and from and we passed them out.

On Sunday at church, one of the preschoolers walks up to her dad, shows him something and states, "Jonathan made this for me." It was an exact replica of what I had taught them to make on Friday. He's made one at home for her!

Ok. So not as academic as I could have hoped for, but SO cute!
