"Arnie" makes the front page

Loosely translated: As in film, Arnie saves Hollywood.

I'm not exactly sure what the article is about, but it's interesting that the Austrian public is so interested in the governor of California.

Visitors

On Tuesday my Uncle George and Aunt Marcia stopped by to visit. They've been traveling around Europe for nearly a month and made sure they had a chance to visit me. I showed them my school and a few of the sights in the 1st district, but mostly enjoyed the company of family.

Gotta love a kid

who thinks in mathematical equations.

I was explaining how a rainbow occurs...If you don't have the sun, no rainbow. If you don't have rain, no rainbow. And my brilliant Tugi speaks up, "Is it like sun plus rain equals rainbow?" Love that kid!

Taste of America

On our way to Baden we stopped at a huge shopping center and indulged in an American treat.

I'm not usually a customer of Cinnabon, but when it's so close to where you live and you're so far away from home, it becomes irresistible.

Spring Break trip to Baden

Over break some friends and I headed to Baden for the day, a thermal bath town outside Vienna. We walked around, soaked in the sun and enjoyed our time away from Vienna.

A bit of a culture clash:

And We're Back

New camera in hand...stalker lenses in the bag...

This one's for fun:

Hand-squeezed lemonade. Leftover from the salsa that's boiling on my stove.
