Lange Nacht der Museen

Last night was the long night of museums here in Vienna.  For the low price of 13 Euros one can visit many many museums in Vienna.  They even have special bus routes to take participants to museums further outside the city.  We made it to seven museums from 6:00pm - 1:00am.  We went to:

National Library-Kind of like Beauty and the Beast
From there to the Bible Museum and then on a crowded bus to...
The Shoe Museum
These were my favorite
After that we went to the Snowglobe Museum and then a LONG ride back to the center of the city on the bus.

We also visited the Globe Museum which turned out to be my favorite.  I enjoyed seeing the various globes and how they changed over the years as cartographers became more accurate.

We also visited the Natural History Museum and finally to the Planetarium where I promptly fell asleep.
It was a great night and I enjoyed visiting various museums that I wouldn't regularly see.  It was a cold night...
so I put aside my vanity and wore my hoods.
