These were cuter on the internet!

So I figured that since I now know how to knit I should knit myself some slippers.  These are cute right?

They just didn't turn out quite like I expected based on the internet picture...a little misshapen.

I guess they don't look too bad with my pants covering them.

And they serve a purpose...so I guess it's a success.  I guess...

Hail no!

It's rare, but once in a while we actually get some real weather here in So. Cal.

Of course it only lasted for seconds, but you can see the little hails bouncing off my balcony wall.

And now it's sunny again...

It hurts a little

to write my 7s like this...but these American kids get thrown when I write it European style.

Is this really the best idea?
